Coverage in the city

Where we work

Columbine is an established southwest-metro community, mostly built in the years around the space-race boom at Waterton Canyon: Columbine Knolls and Columbine Hills on the plains side, Dutch Creek and Normandy Estates in between, and the larger lots of Governor’s Ranch further south. The homes are older, well kept, and mostly owner-occupied, which means original hardware is still in service on plenty of doors.

We come to you: home, work, a lot at the shopping centres on Bowles, the library and Clement Park area, or the roadside on Wadsworth or Kipling. Anywhere in the Columbine area — the KVue and Jefferson County sides both — you are in our area.

What we do

Locksmith services across the city

What Columbine calls us for most, all done on site — no tow and no dealer appointment.

Inside the locksmith van — key machine, blanks and tools

Car Lockout

Keys shut in at the Bowles shopping lots or on a residential street off Wadsworth — most vehicles open in under 20 minutes, undamaged.

A set of car keys and a fob beside the key machine

New Car Keys & Fobs

A fob that quit at home or a key lost at Clement Park — cut and programmed at your address.

A key programming tool with a transponder key and antenna on the bench

Key Programming

Spares and all-keys-lost work for the cars that run Wadsworth and Kipling daily, plus module and bench work for the harder makes.

A door cylinder with a snapped key segment on the bench

House & Apartment Lockout

Locked out of a 1960s home in Columbine Knolls or a townhome at Dutch Creek — non-destructive entry, any hour.

Freshly cut keys beside a door lock ready to go back on

Rekey & Lock Change

A closing in Governor’s Ranch or a lease turnover — all the locks onto one new key, on the spot.

A master key board in a business back office

Business & Commercial

Storefront lockouts and master-key work for the shops and offices along Bowles and Wadsworth.

How a call works

Three steps, no surprises

  • You call — the neighborhood or the nearest big street is enough; Columbine we know street by street.
  • Price first — told before we set off, unchanged when we pull in.
  • We drive to you — Columbine Knolls, Dutch Creek, or out toward Governor’s Ranch.
  • Sorted on site — most car lockouts and rekeys finish in one visit.

Typical calls

The jobs we get every week

On the road

Keys locked in the car in a Bowles shopping lot, a fob that died in a school-run line, keys lost at Clement Park or by Chatfield, a key snapped in the ignition.

At home or work

Locked out of a house in Columbine Knolls, moved into a townhome at Dutch Creek and want the locks rekeyed, a sliding or patio door that will not open, a deadbolt to fit on an older door.

Questions

Questions we get asked

Can you get into a car in a shopping lot or on a residential street?

Yes — the Bowles and Wadsworth lots and the residential streets are routine calls for us, day or night. We come to the vehicle; nothing gets towed.

Do I need the building manager to let me into my townhome?

No. If you live there we can normally open the door without the manager, and we can rekey or fit new locks the same visit if you want.

How fast can you reach Columbine Knolls, Dutch Creek or Governor’s Ranch?

We run the Wadsworth and Kipling corridors all day. Give us the cross-streets on the call and we will give you an honest arrival window for that part of the Columbine area before you commit.

Do you work nights, weekends and holidays?

Yes. Nights, weekends and holidays are normal working hours for us, and a late lockout is a routine job. Call (720) 767-1248, seven days a week.

What do I need to have for a new car key?

Proof the vehicle is yours — registration or title in your name — plus photo ID. That protects you as much as it protects us.

Will you damage my car or my door?

Non-destructive entry is the standard and it is what we reach for first. Correct tools for the vehicle or the lock, nothing scratched or drilled. If a job genuinely cannot be done without damage we tell you before we touch anything.

Locked out tonight?

One call and a van rolls — the emergency line answers 24 hours.
